When you complete an enquiry or quote form we collect your name, phone number, email address, postcode, any property address you provide, the type of work you need, your description of the job, your preferred method of contact and the page the enquiry was sent from. We also record the date and time the enquiry was received.

If you call, text, WhatsApp or email us directly, we hold whatever information you choose to share in that message.

Your information is used solely to respond to your enquiry, provide a quotation, arrange and carry out work, issue certification and keep the records required for electrical work we have completed. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to a request you have made, and where work goes ahead, performance of a contract with you.

We do not add you to marketing lists, we do not send newsletters and we never sell or rent your details to anyone.

Enquiry details are stored using our website hosting and database provider, which processes the data on our behalf under contract. Beyond that, information is only shared where we are legally required to do so, or where you have asked us to — for example providing an electrical report to your letting agent or local authority.

Enquiries that do not lead to work are kept for up to 12 months. Where work is carried out, records relating to the installation, testing and certification are kept for at least six years, in line with normal practice for electrical records and insurance requirements.

This website sets no analytics or tracking cookies unless you accept them using the consent banner. Choosing essential only means no analytics data is collected. You can change your mind at any time by clearing this site's stored data in your browser.

You have the right to ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, to have inaccurate details corrected, to ask for deletion where we have no ongoing legal reason to keep it, and to object to our use of your information. Email camerondbwest.electrical@outlook.com and we will respond within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
