Built around how agencies actually work

Managing rented property means deadlines, tenant access and audit trails. Cameron works to that reality: direct communication with the electrician doing the work, clear quotations, professional documentation, and remedial work itemised against the report so you can approve it without a phone call to interpret it.

Landlords in England must have the electrical installation inspected and tested at least every five years, give tenants the report, and remedy any C1, C2 or FI findings within 28 days. Because Cameron is City & Guilds 2391 qualified in inspection and testing, both the report and the remedial work can be done by the same person.

Additional capacity

Already have an electrician?

Plenty of agencies and landlords already have someone they use, and that is exactly as it should be. Cameron is often added to a contractor list as additional capacity — for the weeks when your usual electrician is committed elsewhere, or when several properties need attention at once.

That covers EICRs and remedial work through to fault finding, maintenance visits, consumer unit work and installations. Nothing needs to change with your existing arrangements — it simply gives you a second qualified electrician to call, with clear quotations and professional documentation. Get in touch to discuss availability.

  • No obligation and no minimum volume
  • Work quoted according to its scope, property by property
  • Direct contact with the electrician carrying out the work
  • Separate invoicing per property where required
  • Professional reports and certification on completion

Questions

Frequently asked questions

How are EICRs booked in?

Contact Cameron with the properties and what you need covered, and he will discuss his availability and how the visits can be scheduled around tenant access.

Can you do the remedial work as well as the report?

Yes. Remedial work is quoted itemised against the report's coded observations and can be carried out by the same electrician, with the relevant certification issued on completion.

Do you deal with tenants directly?

That can be discussed. Cameron is happy to confirm appointments with tenants where you would like him to, or to work through your office instead — whichever suits your process.

What paperwork do we get?

The EICR itself, an itemised remedial quotation where needed, and the relevant certificates on completion — in a format you can pass straight to tenants or the local authority.

Can you invoice each property separately?

Yes. Where your accounting needs it, work can be invoiced per property rather than as a single combined invoice.
